Menuju Puncak ; AF2- can you believe it??

Menuju puncak , gemilang cahaya.... Hahahha can u believe it , I ACTUALLY WATCH THIS MALAY REALITY SINGING COMPETITION SHOW entittled Akademi Fantasia!! I couldn't even believe it myself untill I got hooked onto it after 15 minutes of the 2nd final concert last month or so . THanks to who?? POWER OF INFLUENCE! ahahah thanks bex and hem(can u believe it? my 28 year old sis who's a mom now also watches it!) ... It made me realise how spastic Malaysian Idol is with the whole concept and low standard of singing level those contestants achieve . Now i'm wondering if Juwita Suwito is doing her homework well enough as we've reached down to the final 6 . Ahh who cares la not that i'm winning the competition .
Back to AF , so why did i watch that all malay dangdut joget kutu mat rock reality show ? Until today the question remains in my head coz i've never been that kind of person - i actually thought that my Bm teacher who's so crazy over AF for her age was having middle age crisis . Hahahha now i understand her craziness coz i'm part of it! Ok la , the whole concept of the show is just fantastic with good critics and SPECTACULAR host - who else but the "Si Gedik" in Aku No 1 - Aznil Hj Nawawi ! hhahha Aznil u rock! He made the show really nice actually , becky and i wonder if he ever wrote down his scripts and memorise them earlier coz he natural speeches made even those M'sian ministers embarrasing for relying on their secretaries to write speeches for them! He's trully the "pengacara No 1 Malaysia" .
The spice of the show adds up when our ex-school mate Farah Diyana (you might have remember the "breep breep" thing if u dun get who i meant) was contesting . Interesting people who got into the finals of the competition who can't sing like Mas and Linda makes it even more hot . Well it's normal even as American Idol has their "ah beng looking" John Stevens into the finals . All of the finalists there definitely could sing better than those in the Msian Idol anytime so what can i say ? I guess as Msians we kind of should stop the mentality of "Akademi Fantasia? eee why you watch malay malay thingey??" What's wrong ? We're all Malaysian in one united nation.
Oh how can i forget my fav theme song - Menuju Puncak . It's really nice and "ummph" for a malay song that inspires people to what else but ; Menuju Puncak . Well it's written by Aubrey Suwita so yeah it's no wonder . It's just a sad news that i only managed to watch 2 concerts but now that it's over i wanna thank channel @15 for repeating the concerts and Anding rox! hahaha so i get more chances to watch Aznil in action . (haih he makes u dun mind he's "khem khem tei" and 41 yr old malay man) The best part is he made me actually watch AKu No 1 in cinema ! ahahahha until today i can't believe it too , my first malay movie in the big screens and i must say sometimes people do crazy stuffs in life and I enjoy doing it .
Well i'm getting tired now and haven't been blogging for sometime , i'll be back wit another post on dilemmas . AF makes me think that "aiii this malay thingey is not so bad afterall" and makes me dun mind those dangdut joget arabian songs they sing.
So overall i just wanna say I'm looking forward for AF 3 and Zahid you're definitely a worthy winner and Farah your voice will bring you onto higher peaks in future . To Bob , "mesraaaaaaa" to Anding , you made me like your version of Senorita rather than Timberlake's one and hail to Sarawak people!! To Kaer you'll always be remembered for this decent looking face and soft spoken unique voice , Mas continue to work on ur satays as u didn't put effort into developing ur unique given voice , and Linda - i'm not one of ur fans but may God bless you . To Aznil , YOU'LL ALWAYS BE PENGACARA NO 1 MALAYSIA and i'll consider to join your academy if you set up one in future! ahhahaha ... To Astro , you've made 3 times fold of money more than last year , u better start cracking brains for AF3!
