Arigato arigato .... Haik!?

Just had a very tiring day today ... walked basically the streets of Bukit Bintang and tiles of Mid Valley megamall .... gosh , but it was well worth and not so well worth it . Went to midvalley hoping to get my working pants , a nice bag that i can stuff everything inside but also look professionally good , my pair of sneakers from Bata , and nice Gipsy style earrings . Guess what , all were not accomplished except my nice 3 for rm10 earrings . Arrrghhhh .... i don't understand why with the cheap sale in Metrojaya and Jusco i can't even get some real quality and nice working pants for myself . Walked and walked and non were affordable . Anyway , the same goes to Sungei Wang and Low Yat plaza . More disappointment were encountered in Low Yat , hoping to get my Diana Krall and Jamie Cullum live DVDs i ended up with NONE . Stocks were not brought in but Eric ko-ko already managed to buy it somewhere else!?? arrrghhh poor poor service .

Not mentioning of course ... i said it was well worth it because today the 16th March 2005 turned out to be a Japanese Fever day!! hahahah ... some of you (i mean maybe NONE of u) might know it's the F1 season now for Msia and so many F1 promotional events are happening in our city . Had a great time in KLCC listening (ONly! coz it was raining and my friends were waiting for me to cut cake so i didn't have time to watch them drive around in KL!) to Sauber Petronas' drivers doing a 2 hours demo on Sunday . But today was even a greater experience when Yuet Mui told me about Takuma Sato's presence in Midvalley! hehehh thank u girl! WIthout you , i wouldn't have known bout this because i was so stuck with Yamaha!

Takuma Sato drives for the BAR Honda team , and yeap he does most of the promotional events around the world ... anyway , the meet the fans session started at 4 pm but i heard some lucky 5 people were picked to answer questions and take photos with Takuma on stage at 3 pm , so i sms-ed Yuet Mui anxiously hoping she'd fly to midvalley. And she did flew there .. ahahha upon her arrival we met at the Honda section , and so happened we stood at a very strange cue made by people waiting for what we didn't know . So i asked some Honda girls (pretty chics!) who were just standing there for display , she said they were cueing up for Takuma's autograph . It's gonna be in 40 min time and they're lining up!?? Hahahaha the MC found out and asked only first 30 people to line up on the correct side ...

And so we rushed blurly and thank God now for small sizes gifted to us , we squeezed our way through and were the 20+ people ... hahaha Only 30 people will get his signature on the poster because he only will be there for half hour . Anyway , we waited ... and stood in the cue ... and waited ... and waited .... The MC announced that he's on the way , at Federal Highway at 3 35pm... at 3 45 pm , MC announced he's on the way in Mont Kiara ... (HUH!??) mean while we rehearsed how to scream and yell when Taku walks in .... it was a lame session because Malaysian crowd doesn't seem to be appreciative all the time . At 3 55 pm announcement made by MC that he's coming in to Mid Valley through the Starbucks entrance but caught in the jam...
at 3 59pm , MC announced the arrival of "THE MAN HIMSELF ... TAKUMA SATO FROM THE BAR HONDA F1 RACING TEAM!!!"

ANd so we cheered and clapped and woooo .... the moment he walked up the stage i turned to Yuet Mui and said "he looks like a malay guy!!!"
And so we continued starring at him because he was just in front of us directly when answering some questions from the MC before signing autographs . I shouted a very embarrasing loud "TAKUMA!!!!" though i'm not really crazy of him . I just admire his speed , handsome gifted looks , nationality , pleasant looks , and really quality driver . For an Asian , he makes us proud! Not mentioning being a Japanese ... HAIK!! Anyway , it was the autograph session soon and so we weren't given the permission to bring up anything including camera to take photo with him because they supply us with a polaroid photo for each fan , but it didn't happen because there were too many cameraman around and crowd , plus those stupid Honda girls blocking us from getting up to see him in person , we just stood before the line and took the poster from the girls!! CRAP! we were cheated and oh ya ... it's ok as long as we've got more than a glimpse of him... He's not Schumi anyway ... =)

Just minutes after collecting our posters , we left the place to continue with our shopping . Before we left megamall to Low Yat plaza , we went to Jusco Supermarket and i had to look for my niece (JR) 's baby biscuit . Heinz seems like a very difficult brand to find , moreover searching for the baby food section in jUsco took my legs! So decided to ask the staff and walked to this "Chinese" looking guy and this is how it went >....

Me : Excuse me , excuse me ... excuse me...
He stopped and starred at me .
Me : Can i know where is the baby food section ?
Staff : Uh? ba-by ba-by sec-tiioon , uh bbaby sec- tioon .. there .. there front ..
(pointing to the main entrance of jusco)
Shocked at his broken and different accent English , my eyes rolled down to see his name on his name tag .
He seemed frustrated in the way he couldn't communicate so he turned and walked quickly to the direction he's suppose to bring me . We followed after him .
Me : In front there ? Okie , thank you! =)
Found destination and sprang a big smile to him because i found out he is a .....

JAPANESE

Yuet Mui and I discussed in awe for we didn't believe he was a Japanese because of his fairness and looks ! He definitely didn't look like a Japanese , because he looked more like a Chinese and with his spiked hair not dyed ... it is too good to be true . Though mum said he's not the first Japanese working in a Jusco because she said there are also Japanese staffs in Jusco Kepong , which i will want to see one day! haahahha .... but i'm totally in awe of that experience . Can you imagine if i'd stop and decided to speak in cantonese because he seemed to be a Chinese?? I think he'd probably go blank and walked away frustratedly ... anyway he had this frustrated look when he couldn't talk to me properly and decided to take action instead . How true is "Action speaks louder than Words" .

And so we headed on to Bukit Bintang and yeah ..... after searching high and low for my DVD's but couldn't find them , we decided to settle down for Sushi King in Low Yat ... my fav sushi king outlet amongst the rest in KL! I still think that's the best Sushi King in KL! And so while eating ... i came to a conclusion that sounds like this .

"hey did you notice today we've been stuck with Japanese things only ? I mean , we saw Taku , then the Yama.. (his name i saw but blocked half by his shirt) Jusco fella , and now we've settled for a Japanese meal! hahahaha .... how coincident !! =) "

As for buying my own things , i ended up going home only with a box of empty floppy disks and a BAR Honda signatured poster . Now that i just hang my poster above this pc ... i'm glad my F1 fever is burning and i realised i not only want to marry a German hubby but i would love to (if i'm given the chance) to have a Japanese boyfriend! hahaha just bf but not to get married because i'd still prefer Germans as my hubby ... reason ? Japanese men especially , seem to be egoistic and always want women to submit to them due to tradition from their ancestors centuries ago . Remember how Japanese people worship their Emperor ?? No offence to any Japanese here , but this is just based on individual preference . I have no right to judge others basically but just giving my thoughts on sociology .

Oooh i've taken too long to write . Now that i look up i see a Japanese sportsman inspiring my passion for F1 , and when i make a 360 degree turn to the back facing my electone , i actually see a Japanese musician (Yoshihiro Andoh... remember?) inpiring me in my passion and probably calling for life . One thing in common , they have this zeal and will to fulfill what's in front of them no matter it's hard or challenging or easy .... because they're made to do it , just like any other Japanese are known for . Hardworking ? Patriotic ? Disciplined? heheheh i dunno , you judge .

Arigato gozaimazte ... Sayonara ! HAIK!!!!
