God IS in CoNtRoL...
Who would have predicted (well at least not me!) that the slimmest chance of winning the F1 World Drivers' Championship happened today!? Just few minutes ago .. i don't remember watching such an enthusiastic adrenaline pumping MIDNIGHT race in my whole of 8 years as an avid F1 fan. 3 way horse race ... but it was also pretty acceptable , because in cases like these.. where the 2 out of 3 who are fighting each other from the same team , the outsider usually benefits . And so it was...
The Brazillian GP was suppose to be a race Lewis Hamilton wanted to win , because this would be his dream career rookie win ... becoming the first ever rookie World Champion (dont you think it's a quite a feat considering he's only 22 and it's his first year in F1?)
It's also a race Fernando Alonso wants to win because he was defending the World Title and also to shut the mouths of the Mclaren garage and prove to the world that HE is still the deserving well respected Double (if he wins today he'll be Triple) World Champion.
Of course Mr Kimi also would want to win this race hoping to secure the Drivers' title for the very first time after coming close to winning it from his former Mclaren team for the past few years but unable to .. and besides the fact of proving that he is worthy of replacing the throne of Michael Schumacher ... without anyone's help.
Most importantly , this is the race that no one but more so Felipe Massa wants to win , not for his World Drivers' Title ,but for the sick of his home ground and his Brazillian fans who came to watch him.
Who knew what will happen in the race .. and so Felipe started from his usual fine Pole position , with Lewis 2nd and Kimi 3rd while the pessimistic Alonso 4th.
Red lights off , Felipe went straight ahead , Kimi came from nowhere to snatch 2nd and Alonso faught with Lewis and boom ... Lewis ran wide and dropped to 8th .. no they didn't touch , but it was just pure racing that he didn't want to yield. So Ferrari 1-2, Alonso 3rd and Mr Hamilton is left trailing from behind ... Lap 9 and suddenly ... STRANGELY , i suspect God stopped Lewis' car engine and he slowed down SO MUCH that everyone thought he was going to stop and couldn't continue on. He lost some gears and some 30 seconds.. found some gears after that , car went back up to speed .. he was in 18th place. HHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA ..
Then of course the race went on .. somehow Alonso ended up in 3rd after some battle with the ever so cool and talented Robert Kubica in the BMW , and finally with some funny 3 pit stop strategy , Lewis ended up in 7th ... after the poor Jarno Trulli retired. (he was suppose to be in 8th)
With that condition , Ferrari cleverly displayed some team playing ... bringing Felipe in first to pit , and then Kimi did some so-called HOT fast laps .. (but of course with the help of Felipe slowing down a little) , Kimi went in 2 laps later and came out just in front of him to claim the 1st spot. AND eventually the
WORLD DRIVERS' CROWN.
With that , the 3 way horse race finished in the slimmest chance of all and the whole race just proves that God is in control of eveyr situation and He knows what's best for everyone. Although this is a pure display of a classic case but as a person who believes in God , i strongly believe that God was at hand throughout this race ... Maybe it wasn't time for Lewis to score his dream career title coz he might just ruin his F1 career later (with the ego coming in blah blah) coz he's still young and inexperienced ... Then of course maybe God doesn't want Alonso to win as well because of the bad image he has protrayed throughout the year within the Mclaren garage ... So .. the best is .. to give to the person who deserves most ... worked hard all year , did nothing wrong when he was needed.
That was the race. It ended in style..but lack in fashion .... There were no donuts from the winning driver (as promised by Lewis if he won) , there was no particular jumping up and down over the moon crazy moves from the winning driver , neither was there any particular disappointed face from any of them . I guess everyone has to be contented .. hahahaha but overall , it was great to watch this race at home. Although i'm NOT a Kimi fan .. seriously eeeu.. i only HAVE to support him because he's driving a red car , and this time i am happy only because he's driving for
Scuderia Marlboro Ferrari Formula 1 team.
I learnt a whole deal from this race ... Though i would have wished the one fighting for the crown and won it was Felipe instead of Kimi. BUT because of this i learnt
1) God is in control of everything
2) God knows the best timing for everyone
3) God can work miraculously
4) All things are possible through Christ
5) Not everything happens in our way
6) There is hope until the "chequered flag"
PS - Kimi just proved that the team can do without Schumi .. and yeah of course it was my first time watching Kimi smiling WIDELY and patting his team mate's shoulders to say thank you and all .. looks like a much happier Kimi Raikkonen we are seeing here ... (he already admitted that he's enjoying F1 much more than before in his entire career) ... Poor Mclaren .. hahaha
PSS - Don't you now know why i wrote this in red?
