Christmas ... 2007...

Ooops it's already 27th at 12 16am .. so i shouldn't be writing this post right. Heheheh anyway i had a great christmas this year. Started from the 3 shopping trips i had to make way earlier and then until the very last minute on Christmas day itself! Hahahahah ... my first time doing this though. Well , talking about gifts .. nothing much this year, like JM said ... not much harvest but instead of thinking about it i actually really find the joy in buying presents for poeple and thinking what to get for them instead. I never thought of a nything in return. Heeheheh

Anyway back to my celebration ... sometimes i kind of forget the true meaning behind the BIGGEST BIRTHDAY ON EARTH ... instead everyone's so busy thinking of what presents to buy and how much to give ... so yeah i'm so sorry Jesus. I only know that i have to think of YOU because it was YOUR day instead of ours. But anyway , it all started on 23th when i went for a family dinner in AH Neh's house , celebrating my two beloved bro in-law's birthdays as well. Coincidently both rats were born in the same month and only 8 days apart! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROTHERS!! LOVE YOU BOTH!

I bought Eric ko-ko a Paolo Coelho book called The ZAhir , and Adrian a light blue tie ... well i wasn't really convinced with my colour selection , but seems like he liked it and Ah Neh said he'll love me for it. Hehehheh ... cool! Then bought the sisters some other stuffs they wanted, or needed.. and some simple gifts for mom and dad. And for Ah Ee and Unc Lee and my dear beloved favourite cousin (Whose gift we didn't bother to wrap and just tie it in a La Boheme plastic bag!HAHAHHAHA) ...

After the dinner, i fell flat with exhaustion in the car ... luckily we reached home early .. and there goes another day. The next morning i woke up and got a ride to school with Poh Yee... and i tell you , ME SHALL NOT do last minute work anymore! I had such a tough time finishing the program notes for my exam recital this sem because due to the past 2 weeks assignment marathon , i literally forgot about typing it and when i got it typed in time for Friday , i forgot to bring the bunch of scores to photostat. And when i got the deal to hand in on Mon, i forgot to bring my jazz piano scores to photostat in the shop .. so dad had to fetch me back and take it and when it's all done i forgot to collect the Program Notes cover page from the shop and end up doing it in school ! STUPID!

By almost 12pm i reached school and started practising ... no no was busy editing and finalizing Aura Lee ... and THANK GOODNESS it was finally done and subconsciuosly memorized! YAY! Powerful leh , writing arrangement ... all is in your head adi... then practiced some more until 3pm when we had to leave coz Academy closes early , so the girls and i went for late McD lunch and my dear girl so nice of her fetched me back to Hem's house. THANKS WEI! LOVE YOU!

After that was another simple family dinner in Hem's house. Eric ko-ko and Hem cooked some really nice western dishes... my favourite lamb and some other stuffs ... JR was so cute ... busy probing Ger's boyfriend and didnt like him so she wanted to "PUT HIM OUTSIDE THE HOUSE". Ridiculous. Anyway after that , Hem decided to have a "Cleaning madness spree" and so she CLEANED THE WHOLE HOUSE from 10pm till 12am ... and i just offered my JAW and kept entertaining her with my stories and chatting .. hahahaha ... Slept the earliest in like 3 weeks or so .. by 12 47am dropped dead.

Woke up at 7 30am for Christmas service in church .. and gOSH we were all cursing at whoever is that who suggested for the service to start at 9 am ... anyway , had fun watching JR performed her grumpy singing .. hahaha .. then headed home with Ger. Went home, cleaned myself and slept for awhile ... woke up thought of rushing to Curve with Wei but didn't know she was still hanging in Sunway , so we decided to wait till 3pm . I went to mamak with mom and came back rushed off to Curve immediately. Reached at 3pm but had a hard time searching for a car park. BY the time i got into Ikano , it was 3 30pm .. and she called to say she is stuck in a jam.

I went on shopping by myself , walking aimlessly at times and decided to just look for the last minute gifts we wanted to get for the girls we're meeting in the evening later. So when she finally reached it was 5pm already! And we quickly grabbed some items for the girls , and walah.. we were officially broke. HAHAHHHA but anyway we love giving .. so don't mind. And we put our thoughts into what's suitable / what not. So by the time it was 6pm we were waiting at TGIF and my stomach was grumbling and had headache ... too hungry.

The rain was beginning to pour HEAVILY and both of us were like refugees from Afghanistan or something waiting there blocking people in the middle of the pavement in front of TGIF aimlessly. Not knowing if TGIF was the place we were going to eat, we didn't dare place our names in the waiting list. So yeah ... by 6 30pm Poh Yee reached and we continued waiting. Angela then came with a news that her wallet was left with only rm 10 and so i was grumbling at how is that possible for a nice dinner on christmas day in THE CURVE! So i got a nice scolding from Wei and we still decided for TGIF anyway. Mun Yee said she was trapped in the jam and needed to send grandma back to house somewhere nearby so she'll be really late.

By 7pm we placed our names on the waiting list , and while waiting we met Hem and JR and all .. they waited but resorted to another place after that .. while WE continued waiting ... almost 7 30pm and Su YEe and Angela were still nowhere in sight. I was worried the manager would not let us in without everyone here, so i kept asking Poh Yee to chase after the girls. Shopping for us took them so long!? Gosh .. By 7 30pm Mun Yee finally reached and she was SHOCKED to see us still waiting outside the entrance of the restaurant at that hour ... minutes later the manager shouted,

LILY!

And so yay! FOOD!

Since TGIF is not a regular place for everyone else that night, so i took charge in ordering the food and we ordered 4 main course for the 6 of us. just to save money ... Before the food came , we exchanged presents and exchanged laughters and some very barbaric screams that made people around stared at us like some animals from the barnyard. SInce we got the last corner table at the end, we could do all we want. Thansk for the prezzies girls! When the food came, all 6 of us switched to SILENT MODE suddenly coz we were too hungry .. ahahhaha and just kept eating .. hahahaha .... after the food , we stayed on to chat .. and here's what WE ALL found out from dearest joker Su Yee which i think everyone should learn before starting a relationship with your boyfriend.

1) Tell your mom that you are going jogging with your friend's boyfriend to hide the relationship from your mom. HAHAHAHHAH!!

2) Make sure your mom doesn't send people to tail on your "hidden" relationship

3) To hide the relationship , make sure the salesman doesn't know your mom

3) For a first date, go to the ZOO

4) Go bird watching so that your boyfriend can take his first step of holding your hand

Alright , so there were those tips. And also that made the whole table shook to the core.... You know me .. once i start laughing i can't stop. And it's freaking loud. So ya after all the jokes and nonsense, we left the restaurant around almost 9pm and decided on a movie in Cineileisure but no tickets available , so decided to head for home. Poh Yee and I wanted to catch a movie in Jusco Kepong instead at home, but the movie was too late and also because ms Chong haven't finish her Widmung assignment! ARRGH!

By the time i got home i went out for another round of supper to get the "air" off my stomach so that i could burp everything out .. and slept really late again this time. Catched up with Grace a little and so happy to find out the girl's coming back on 2nd until 15th jan!! Which means she'll come for convo and concerrt ! YAY!!! LOVE YOU! and oh so miss you! Looking forward to see you.

Well that was it. My 2007 christmas celebration ... oh not to mention the lovely gifts , and wishes from my friends, students , and family members ... thank you all but most importantly, it's the spirit of Jesus .. His presence into the world that's the best gift of all to all of us here. Happy 2008 everyone!
