Shift mode , shift gear!

As much as i've played the electone ever since i was 9 , so in counting it has been like 12 years or so including 2009 ... i've acquired quite a handful of skills on it technically and musically until i realized lately it is all starting to vanish ... gradually but surely. Although practising the piano is SUPPOSE to make my playing on the electone much easier but that's not entirely true. The only thing it helps is making your fingers firm and not so floaty whenever you attempt to press the light electone keys. As for this year's EF campaign , i've learnt a WHOLE LOT of things about these 2 instruments i'm digging at the moment. THE PIANO and ELECTONE.

I only have less than 3 weeks remaining before the NEF and i gotta use these 20 over days wisely and really get things kicked off before the big day on stage. Eerth still has a LOT of room for improvement in terms of composition and registration wise , but the main thing is my performance cannot let the others down. I'm constantly clouded by frustration of losing my EL hands and now to gain it back in 3 weeks might seem pretty impossible actually. God knows how long i took to acquire those EL hands but there's no choice i still have to nail those parts down. Technically Eerth is the most difficult piece i'm trying on and GOSH don't know why i have this habit of making my own life miserable by writing difficult composition .... complex thinking , yes!

Enough of blabbering , in conclusion i just gotta shift mode and shift gear. I've been technically pretty lost and that has caused a lot of frustration within the EF camp and yesterday when C.H taught me how to play one part of the song i suddenly realized

"HEY isn't this how i used to always play? I"VE forgotten about it!"

And at that moment it felt like i went back to ELECTONE Lesson 101 again. Ridiculous.. and there's so much more places he hasn't taught me how to play. We're running out of time but God is with me and i can only hang onto Him for divine strength and determination.
